Just in time for Easter, Fox is set to release a three-week, faith-based limited series inspired by the Bible’s celebrated matriarchs.
The six-episode drama will unfold over three consecutive weeks during the Easter and Passover season. The series promises stories of love, family, and heartbreak, rooted in scripture and brought to life for the small screen.
The six-episode series adapts stories from the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis, retold through the perspectives of five iconic women:
Sarah, Hagar, Rebekah, Leah, and Rachel
Alexa Davalos, Tom Mison, Tom Payne, and Ben Robson were tapped to join the faith-based drama for the second part of the series
They join Minnie Driver, Jeffrey Donovan, and Natacha Karam have been cast for the first installment
The first installment of the series will star Minnie Driver as Sarah, while Jeffrey Donovan will play her husband Abraham, and Natacha Karam will play Hagar
In the second installment, Alexa Davalos will play Rebekah, while Tom Mison, Tom Payne, and Ben Robson have been cast as leads in the limited series
in the third installment, Will Stevens, Millie Brady, James Purefoy have been cast 
Part 2: Rebekah’s Story
This installment centers on Rebekah, portrayed by Davalos, who is depicted as bold, compassionate, and tested by a divine calling. Her journey begins when a mysterious invitation sets her on a path that will shape generations to come. Mison will play her husband Isaac, the son of Abraham and Sarah, still haunted by his near-sacrifice at his father’s hand. Payne takes on the role of Jacob, the younger son whose ambition and cunning drive him toward transformation, while Robson plays Esau, the firstborn, a hunter and warrior caught in a struggle of inheritance and expectation.
The third installment will center on Leah and Rachel, nieces of Rebekah who will, portrayed by Davalos. Millie Brady plays Leah, the eldest daughter of Laban. Blu Hunt is Rachel, the free-spirited and fiercely ambitious younger daughter of Laban and sister of Leah. James Purefoy is Laban, the patriarch of a complicated household and the older brother of Rebekah. Will Stevens portrays temperamental Birham, who, much like his father Laban, prefers fun over tending the flock. Tom Payne returns as Jacob, the son of Rebekah and Isaac (Tom Mison) and now betrothed to Rachel
