A gifted Canadian and American actress, comedian, and screenwriter, and two-time Emmy winner whose career spanned over 50 years
has died Friday at her home in Los Angeles after a brief illness, her reps at CAA confirmed
She started her career in sketch and improvisational comedy in film and television before expanding her career taking dramatic roles. She received several accolades including two Primetime Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
