Crime drama in the Works At NBC
The broadcast network is developing a one-hour drama in the space from We Were Liars writer Noah Rose Keeling
and Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies showrunner Annabel Oakes. Spotless comes from Universal Television
The story follows Bridget, a modern, impulsive, and quite messy mom, and her daughter Marnie, a very bright adult but with little social skill. Together they have a business dedicated to cleaning crime scenes. To grow the business, they decide to try a new "service": in addition to cleaning, they start investigating what happened in each case. That decision gets them into increasingly dangerous situations, while at the same time they try to sustain a mother-daughter relationship that is complicated, intense, but very strong.
Spotless is NBC’s latest development in the drama space
