Which not only means that fans will have to wait longer to get new episodes, but they will likely be getting less episodes. The mid-season premiere generally means that a show will be given half the amount of episodes that a regular season is afforded, so the upcoming seasons of Fire, PD and Med will be half the length of their predecessors
