Sumner Redstone dies at 97~⚰️

Sumner M. Redstone, said to have coined the phrase “content is king,” is dead at age 97. His reign over a media empire that encompassed Viacom and CBS was long: He handed control to his daughter, Shari E. Redstone, four years ago. It all began with drive-ins in 1951. Redstone, a lawyer, "negotiated, sued and otherwise fought to amass holdings" that eventually included the Paramount film and television studios, the publisher Simon & Schuster, the video retail giant Blockbuster and a host of cable channels, including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon, writes The New York Times — businesses once worth $80 billion.
