It has now been confirmed that the initial reports of Tony Dow's passing were incorrect. Dow is currently alive in hospice
Despite confirmation earlier today that he had died following a battle with cancer. Dow’s wife confirmed to ABC reporter George Pennacchio (via Facebook) that she mistakenly reported his death to his management today, believing that he had died during the night in their home He is, in fact, still alive, but had some “health issues overnight” that led to his wife having mistakenly “inferred” that he had died. Dow is currently receiving hospice care at his home and is “reportedly near death

  Mayim Bialik, Ken Jennings Will Keep Splitting Host Duties

At last, there’s a solution to the ongoing question of which host — 
Mayim Bialik or Ken Jennings — will ultimately lead “Jeopardy!”
The answer: Both.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has entered into long-term deals that will have the two hosts continue to split duties on the popular syndicated game show, according to a person familiar with the matter, while retaining Bialik to host primetime editions of the show as well as the new “Celebrity Jeopardy!” show expected to start up at ABC. With Sony eager to boost more versions of the program, this person says, more than one host was required
 Bialik continues to work on the Fox sitcom,
 “Call Me Kat,” which has been scheduled for a third season

Was an American television actor, film producer, director, and sculptor. He is best known for his role in the television sitcom Leave It to Beaver, which ran in primetime from 1957 to 1963. Dow played Wally Cleaver, the older son of June (played by Barbara Billingsley) and Ward (played by Hugh Beaumont) Cleaver, and the older brother of Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver (played by Jerry Mathers)
 From 1983 to 1989, Dow reprised his role as Wally in a television movie and in The New Leave It to Beaver 
He spent 10 seasons as "the perfect big brother" on the show and its sequel, then carved out a career as a TV director
Dow’s career also included high-profile appearances on shows like Diagnosis Murder, Knight Rider, Lassie and Mod Squad
