 Sir Thomas Sean Connery~ ⚰️

Shaken not stirred ~ a true classic {and oh so attractive} man 🍸!

Sean Connery, the irascible Scot from the slums of Edinburgh who found international fame as Hollywood’s original James Bond, dismayed his fans by walking away from the Bond franchise and went on to have a long and fruitful career as a respected actor and an always bankable star, has died in Nassau, the Bahamas. He was 90.

His death, in his sleep either late Friday or early Saturday, was confirmed by his family.

“Bond, James Bond” was the character’s familiar self-introduction, and to legions of fans who have watched a parade of actors play the role — otherwise known as Agent 007 on Her Majesty’s Secret Service — none uttered the words or played the part as magnetically or as indelibly as Mr. Connery.

Tall, dark and dashing, he embodied the novelist Ian Fleming’s suave and resourceful secret agent in the first five Bond films and seven over all, vanquishing diabolical villains and voluptuous women alike beginning with “Dr. No” in 1962.

As a more violent, moody and dangerous man than the James Bond in Fleming’s books, Mr. Connery was the top box-office star in both Britain and the United States in 1965 after the success of “From Russia With Love” (1963), “Goldfinger” (1964) and “Thunderball” (1965). But he grew tired of playing Bond after the fifth film in the series, “You Only Live Twice” (1967), and was replaced by George Lazenby, a little-known Australian actor and model, in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (1969).

Filthy Rich, NEXT Both Cancelled at Fox~

The cancellation axe has started swinging early this year: Fox has cancelled freshman dramas Filthy Rich and NEXT, just weeks after their respective fall debuts. Variety was the first to report the news, adding that “rising production costs due to the COVID-19 pandemic played a significant part in the decision.”

Both series will air any remaining episodes.

Filthy Rich starred Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City) as the mother of an ultra wealthy family of evangelists who are thrown for a loop when the patriarch, played by Gerald McRaney, dies in a plane crash — and several of his illegitimate children come out of the woodwork. The primetime soap debuted in September to 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.4 demo rating, which tumbled to 2.1 million viewers and 0.3 in Week 2. Five episodes have aired to date.

NEXT starred John Slattery (Mad Men) as a disgraced tech pioneer whose A.I. creation begins to run amok and threatens to destroy society as we know it. Fernanda Andrade (NCIS: Los Angeles) co-starred as a Homeland Security cybercrime agent, with Michael Mosely (Castle) and Eve Harlow (The 100) leading the supporting cast. It premiered earlier this month to 1.8 million total viewers and a 0.3 demo rating; just two episodes have aired so far.

   Flesh and Blood~

Filmed along England’s dramatic West Sussex coast, Flesh and Blood is soaked in sunshine and warm beach breezes. But don’t let the gentle surf and sunny skies fool you—the drama definitely goes to darkly delicious places!

~Episode 4 Recap~

In Flesh and Blood‘s juicy finale, a victim and a perp are finally revealed, but a shocker leaves us hanging in the final frames! Return to the scene of the crime, rehash Jake’s inevitable disaster, and revisit Mary’s triumph—and the cliffhanger that could undermine it—in our Episode 4 recap. We still have questions!

Vivien: Dreams Dashed

What We Don’t Know

At the end, is Vivien just in shock, as she looks around the table? Or is she suspicious of Mary and her children?

Mark: Surprise Survivor!

What We Don’t Know

Will he recover? Will he remember what Mary did? And was he innocent of our suspicions, or had he been trying to kill Vivien after all?

Mary: First Responder

What We Don’t Know

Was Mary, constantly refilling Mark’s glass, the source of the diazepam found in his system, and if so, was her attempt to kill Mark premeditated, or opportunistic? Was she trying to protect Vivien and the kids, or was a warped and toxic jealousy behind her act?

Jake: Inevitable Exposure

What We Don’t Know

A reconciliation with Leila is certainly not in the cards, but is there a spark of unexpected connection, beyond their transactions, between Jake and Stella?

Helen: Hard Truth & Hope

What We Don’t Know

We don’t know for sure if George will come back and their relationship will survive, but Helen appears to have had a genuine breakthrough that should help her and her loved ones find happiness

Natalie: A Bun in the Oven?

What We Don’t Know

Natalie hasn’t done a pregnancy test yet, but it’s unlikely that she’s mistaken, given how closely she was paying attention when she was trying to get pregnant before…
