Season 5 will start where Season 4 left off and then take a time-jump.
Season 4 of Riverdale wasn’t meant to end the way it did. The season was cut short due to the coronavirus shut down in March, so fans got a finale that was really meant to be a mid-season episode.
So when the CW show returns for Season 5, it will pick up where Season 4 ended — with the mystery of the sinister videotape stalker. But a few episodes into the new season, that storyline will wrap up and lead into a time jump for the Riverdale crew.

Christopher Meloni's Elliot Stabler spin-off, Law & Order: Organized Crime, has been delayed. The anticipated drama was expected to debut this October on NBC, following Law & Order: SVU, but NBC announced Thursday that the show was being pushed until 2021.

Among the incidents retold: her royal wedding to Prince Philip, the aftermath of Princess Diana's death and the tragic 1966 avalanche in the Welsh town of Aberfan (dramatized in last season's The Crown).

Enola Holmes~
Step aside, Sherlock Holmes. There's a new super-sleuth on the case. Netflix has revealed the first full trailer for Enola Holmes, a film adaptation of Nancy Springer's beloved mystery books of the same name that follow Sherlock Holmes' little sister, a talented detective in her own right.
The story is set in England in 1884 and centers on Enola (Millie Bobby Brown), the 16-year-old sister of Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin), as she attempts to unravel the mystery surrounding her mother's (Helena Bonham Carter) disappearance after being sent to finishing school by her brothers. She soon finds herself ensnared in another mystery surrounding a runaway Lord (Louis Partridge) and becomes Sherlock's "fiercest competition yet," per the film's official description.
The movie will premiere on Sunday, Sept. 23.

This Is Us : Coronavirus plans~
The NBC drama will “attack things head on” when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic in Season 5, executive producer Dan Fogelman shared on Twitter. However, no specific details have been revealed just yet.
“I think they want to give themselves the leeway and the freedom to bring some of that in, if it makes sense, but everything is changing so quickly,” Mandy Moore (who plays the Pearsons’ matriarch Rebecca) had told TV Insider about the subject. “So I’m curious to see how we’re going to address that, because I don’t see how we couldn’t in some way.”

Season 4 kicks off with “the early days of the outbreak, focusing on the effect on our hero doctors and nurses as they risk their lives daily,” cocreator Amy Holden Jones has said. The Fox medical drama will also deal with the after-effects of the virus.

At least one procedural drama will also feature a COVID-related storyline. The Season 7 premiere will be about the pandemic, with coroner Dr. Loretta Wade (CCH Pounder) at the heart of the story when someone she’d advised about protection from the virus ends up in her morgue.

The ABC medical drama will begin its 17th season “a month and a half into full COVID,” series star Giacomo Gianniotti (who plays Dr. Andrew DeLuca) has revealed, adding that as medical professionals in a hospital, they’ll be able to wear “full” personal protective equipment.
Showrunner Krista Vernoff previously explained they have “an opportunity and a responsibility to tell” the stories of the real-life doctors’ whose experiences they’re hearing about in the writers room. “They’re talking about it as war — a war that they were not trained for,” she added, which is why former Army surgeon Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) is “actually trained for this in a way that most of the other doctors aren’t.”
